Testimonials for the Summer Kitchen
We loved the summer kitchen- perfect accommodations! I would return for the wolf tour alone, yet there’s so much more! Thanks for a weekend steeped in nature and down home goodness!

Dear Dawn and Darin,
Thank you for a wonderful get away to celebrate and anniversary and get some R & R. We so respect and admire what you’re doing here with your grandparents’ beautiful farm, the B&B (superb!) , and the compassionate, intelligent and creative operation of the wolf sanctuary. The disposition and beautiful condition of the wolves and the high caliber of your volunteers “speaks volumes” We wish you great continued success and look forward to our next visit. Heard the wolves howl again during our evening visit – so neat.
(Notes for future guests: we recommend the Bull’s Head Pub in Lititz for really good food, also Scooters for light lunch, and Wilbur Chocolate exceeded our expectations! But truly for us it was the wolves)

Our second stay – and just great! We love what you have done to finish the inn. It was great to visit with the wolves- they are beautiful animals. This time we really had a chance to explore Lititz. We love the town! Looking forward to returning.

Dear Dawn and Darin,
Thank you for your hospitality. Staying in the Summer Kitchen was very well appreciated. The restoration of these historic buildings makes them homey and well preserved for the future.
To visit the wolf sanctuary was a birthday present from my wife. To see and be so close to the animals has left a deep impression behind.
We enjoyed breakfast and the little conversations every morning during our stay.
Thank you again and all the best for the future.

I’ve never had such an awesome breakfast. Dawn and Darin were so awesome and a special thanks to the cleaning lady for being so great and helpful. Thank you so much for taking care of our messes. We had such a relaxing time being private and enjoying each other and the tub!
The wolves are so totally awesome, with them howling and so awesome to see up close. We will be back and stay in a different cabin. Everything was perfect, comfortable, and relaxing. I don’t have enough words to explain except you must experience it.
I can’t wait to come back again, maybe with a few other friendly couples of my own. This place is awesome. Thank you everyone! I never realized I could learn so much about wolves. Oh one more thing, get the couples’ massage, very awesome!!

We came here to celebrate Heather’s birthday and to purchase a beautiful dining room table for our new home.
I’ll remember this weekend as I sit and enjoy dinner with my family over the years. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your home is beautiful and restored to perfection.

What a great idea for a B&B! Totally unique and so wonderful. My husband and I always love an adventure – especially when animals are involved
What a beautiful gift this place is, and we really can’t wait to share with others the warmth and fun we had here!
Great company, great food and we’re so glad that we upgraded (the spa was worth it)!
Thank you so much!

My husband & I are celebrating our 10th anniversary here- the first guests at Speedwell Forge B&B! Went for a short hike nearby, and saw kayakers and a small toad. (they were not together) Lovely touches: rubber duckie, wilbur buds, plush robes.
It is our last day here at the B&B. I hope we come back sometime. I think this is a great hotel. I love the rubber ducky and the whirlpool bath. I also love the chocolate. We went to Hershey Park yesterday. It was fun. Kate
Thank you so much for your hospitality! The breakfast alone was worth the trip! It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a couple days.
We are already looking forward to coming back to visit again soon!
